I was reluctant at first, but I am now convinced that this flash hair removal tool does work as described. While I have seen the term “Laser” bandied about here a lot, this is not a lasing device. It is a high intensity flash lamp similar to a camera strobe (flash). The high intensity light slightly penetrates the outer skin layer and the heat is absorbed by the darker material (hair in this case).I don’t normally comment on retail presentation, but the package presentation is very professional appearing—even as a gift. The device itself has a quality feel, with some substance to it but not so much as to be overly heavy.It is also extremely easy to use. Use the power button to turn the system on and set the intensity level, and then just press the trigger button for a single flash, or hold it for multiple flashes.Even though it is supposed to be used on shaved skin, I intentionally used it on my unshaved forearm so I could observe the effect on visible hair. At the highest setting and just 1 or 2 pulses, the hair had been burned and curled almost down to the skin surface. This is what convinces me that this device will perform as claimed, even though that process takes weeks to complete.

Overall, it’s pretty comfortable to hold and use, as the hair is just instantly deleted without much issue.Using it is super simple, especially since it’s so light and pretty well-made with high quality materials.It doesn’t work on all skin tones and hair colors though, so be mindful of that, as it’s the only real downside.It’s still a great value though since you can remove hair without issue and the kit gives you everything you’d need in order for it to work its best.

Takes time to see results, no issues during initial usage
From what I’ve experienced so far, this is a nice laser hair remover. I’ve had similar items before and this model worked about the same. That being said, it type of hair remover takes time to really see results. I haven’t used it long enough to review the actual hair removing effects. I will update this review as usage continues.For the times I have used it, I haven’t experienced any problems. No burns or skin irritation.What I really like about this model is the smaller faceplate. It’s perfect for getting smaller areas such as face, knees, shins, etc.There are several negatives.It doesn’t come with a cooling feature so it does feel much hotter than other models with a cooling option.The instructions are quite unhelpful. If you’ve never used a laser hair remover before, please look up some real instructions/guidelines before using.I’ve looked everywhere and can’t find a brand name. The brand name in the listing say “Mihilo” but I can’t find it anywhere on the product, instructions or box. Honestly, that concerns me a little.
