I was prepared to be underwhelmed, but…
I’ve used Clean it Zero and a bunch of other oil balm cleansers and micellar water with cotton rounds and special micellar wipes for step one of double cleansing. All that landed me at my optometrist with a recommendation for artificial tears for dry eyes from oil-blocked glands at the root of my lashes. Booooo.I’ve since been searching for a different product formula that would take off my long wear eyeliner and waterproof mascara without leaving residue or stripping my skin.To start step 1 of this evening’s cleanse, I wet my face (a full face of passport-photo-level makeup) then applied two pumps of this oil to foam cleanser. This product has slightly thinner viscosity than Cetaphil facial cleanser, my normal step 2 cleanser. The smell was just like all Cetaphil face products. Not scented and not unpleasant. The product didn’t foam a ton, which was fine, but I did feel it breaking up my makeup. It took a lot longer to scrub off my eyeliner and waterproof mascara than other products, including micellar water. Maybe a full 20 seconds on my eyes alone. I worried this product wouldn’t work, but kept rubbing my lashes. Eventually this cleanser softened, then removed my mascara. SUPER WELL. I wiped my face with a cloth and was surprised that it took off all my makeup. My skin didn’t feel greasy but it did feel slightly filmy. If you’re a double cleanser, you know what I mean. But this was the best step one I’ve ever used.If you don’t double cleanse, I think you’ll be entirely happy with this removing your makeup with a single step. After step 2 of washing with my regular Cetaphil cleanser, I wiped my face with a white towel and there was literally nothing left. No makeup at my hairline, no lip stain. No mascara streaks at all, and I rubbed my eyes and lashes thoroughly to make sure. My skin didn’t feel stripped and my face felt so clean. I came to review this product immediately after applying my serums. That’s how good this is.The bottle was smaller than I anticipated, but you don’t need much to take off a full face of makeup. I expect it’ll last quite awhile. It’s much cheaper than micellar and other cleansing balms. I’m a new convert. This earns holy grail status for me.My next challenge is to find a travel-size dispenser to take this show on the road.

    Great on sensitive skin
Great face wash. I have sensitive, easily irritated skin and this face wash does the trick. Leaves me feel hydrated and clean. Foams very well. Definitely recommend 👌

Good cleanser but not what I would expect from an “oil” cleanser.
Nothing special, but nothing to complain about. I normally use Dove hypoallergenic body wash and I really love it, but I was inspired by YouTube derms talking about the benefits of oil cleansing I thought I’d give this a try. I decided to wash half my body, including my face with this and the other half with my tried and true. I had been wearing and reapplying mineral sunscreen and sweating heavily all day. Both cleansers worked comparably. My sunscreen was fully removed and my skin didn’t feel over stripped. The dove cleanser is far less expensive, and has a better fragrance. This cleanser should really be called a glycerine cleanser and not an oil cleanser, as I could tell it contains a high percentage of glycerine. It has more of a syrupy texture rather than oily texture and made my skin slightly sticky, characteristic of glycerin. Glycerine is good for the skin, so I’m not mad but it’s not the oil cleanser I was expecting.

No tight feeling skin with this cleanser
This is the only cetaphil product that doesn’t make my skin feel tight. It is very moisturizing and it does clean well. I do use this as a second step. I wash my face with an oil first and then use the Cetaphil cleanser.

Been using this for a few months
I really adore this cleanser, I especially for the fact that I can double cleanse without needing to buy two products. It bubbles up really nicely and makes your skin feel very clean without stripping it. The closest thing to the texture I can say is it feels and smells like bubble solution. I don’t know if anyone else who has tried it agrees, but that’s how I feel. My one complaint is it’s a tiny bottle and each pump pumps out so much so you really don’t feel like you’re getting your money’s worth for a $10 drugstore product. But one bottle lasts me about a month.

    A routine product
This product is amazing!! We are spanish and have crazy skin issues wtih oils, my daughters face was breaking out and her face was being overly dried and it was irritating her. IT took years to finally look on amazon for something and came across this and WOW she loves it and day 2 pimples started drying and and her face wasn’t oily or dried, her face was smooth… Get it!!! the price is great, the size is great as well. the smell isn’t so bad. Your face stays hydrated all day long.

    Doesn’t feel like an oil
This is NOT an oil cleanser. It’s OK at removing makeup. Not super drying but it does not leave you feeling like you used anything even remotely close to oil.
