LOVE LOVE LOVE
A friend recently recommended this product to me and I decided to try it out. Safe to say, I love it! I purchased the shade medium light, it is so lightweight on my skin and the color match is insane. The foundation is so creamy and soft and application is so easy! It also doesn’t wrinkle up with wear! I would definitely recommend this product because it can be very full coverage or light/sheer depending on your needs!

Great formula, but Medium Light shade ran dark on me
I really wanted to love the Emani Youth Defense Foundation because the formula is actually really nice, but the shade was way darker than I expected. I ordered Medium Light, thinking that would be a safe bet based on the listing photos, but it looked really dark on me. Ordering foundation online is always a bit of a guessing game, but this shade was still darker than I expected. I had the same issue with the concealer from this brand, so in my experience, their shades definitely run deeper than the names suggest. You can see in the photos I added how dark it looked on me.The formula itself is smooth, lightweight, and easy to blend. It gives really nice coverage without looking heavy or cakey, and a little goes a long way. I also liked that it lasted a good while once I had it on. The finish is more natural and radiant instead of flat or overly matte, which made my skin look fresher.Since the shade is too dark for me right now, I’m going to save this for summer when I have a little more color. In the meantime, I can mix it with sunscreen to make more of a tinted moisturizer situation, so it will not go to waste.I also like that it is made in South Korea and has ingredients like hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, licorice root, centella asiatica, and vitamin C. It seems like a more thoughtfully made formula than others on the market, and I like that it is clean and vegan too. This would be a really nice foundation if the shade match works for you, but I would definitely recommend going lighter than you think you need.
